What is silence?

It is the state that permanently exists underneath all sound. Its nature is as all things divine - infinite, timeless, impermeable, all-accepting...unconditionally peaceful and loving. Silence could also be described as being absolutely still, relaxed, present, endlessly patient and kind, and perhaps...perfect. The basis of Silent Music is this; that every fading note (or ANY sound for that matter) reveals that which permanently rests beneath - yes...silence. Once the state of silence is realized in you, the above attributes will naturally surface in your being! Tension releases, we breathe again, the mundane loses its importance...ultimately we become ourselves, aware in the present moment.
